This Robertshaw manual reset high limit control (similar to a thermostat) is an over temperature safety cut out for commercial fryers and cooking equipment. It breaks the circuit when the oil or cavity temperature rises to 232 degrees, and stays open until the reset button is pressed after the appliance has cooled.
It has a 1.2m capillary with an 80mm x 8mm sensing bulb and a 3/8 inch gland nut fitting. Always find the cause of an over temperature trip before resetting.
