Terms and Conditions, Warranty / Return Policy

  • Special order items are not eligible for return or refund due to change of mind. However, customers are entitled to a remedy if the item is faulty, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees.
  • Faulty items must be returned at the customer’s expense for assessment. If found to be faulty, a credit, replacement, or repair will be offered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Return postage may be reimbursed where required by law.
  • Proof of purchase (e.g. invoice number) and part number must be provided with all returned items.
  • Some items, such as plastic or copper components, may not be covered by manufacturer warranties. However, they are still subject to consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Goods remain the property of Opaque White Goods until full payment has been received.
  • A restocking fee may apply to items returned due to change of mind, where accepted.

Licensed Installation Requirements

  • Electrical spare parts are only warranted when installed by a qualified electrical repairer. A valid licence or certificate number must be provided.
  • Gas spare parts are only warranted when installed by a licensed gas fitter. Certificate or licence details must be submitted as proof of installation.
  • For any parts that legally or practically require installation by a licensed professional, documentation must be supplied confirming that installation was carried out by a suitably qualified individual.
