Washing Machine Motor Drive Coupling (Direct Drive) – Suits Whirlpool (285753A)

This motor drive coupling connects the motor shaft to the transmission on Whirlpool direct drive top load washing machines. The kit is made up of two plastic drive hubs with metal reinforced centres and a rubber isolator that cushions the drive between them.

It replaces Whirlpool part 285753A and the earlier 285753. The coupling is designed to break if the drive system seizes, protecting the motor. Replace it when the machine pumps out but will not agitate or spin, spins slowly or makes a grinding noise.
