It provides a clean LCD interface with manual set‑level control, heat and cool operation, and simple low‑voltage installation using the existing 5‑pin loom found on earlier TEK‑series wall controls. The TEK7DAT offers a modern digital upgrade path for older analogue and early digital Bonaire controllers, delivering reliable operation across both evaporative cooling and ducted heating systems when paired with compatible control boxes.
